Virtually flawless San Diego ISP
It has been a long time, almost a full year, since I have last written about
Internet service providers (ISPs) in San Diego.
The main reason for this maybe that for us it has become a non-issue. Our ISP, Terracom Network
Systems (TNS) continues to provide virtually perfect service. There are no busy signals, no lost
connections & 24/7 tech-support.
The main reason I use the tech-support is that messages above a certain size, about 2.5MB, will
not be automatically downloaded. When a large message arrives in the queue I am notified by TNS &
it remains in the queue until I direct them to either download it or delete it. Sometimes
companies will send an entire press kit or an entire software package, including pictures, via
email. This can make for a very large message. TNS provides me with the sender, subject & size
of the message so I can decide whether to delete or download. I am a very heavy user of email,
about 80-100 messages a day, & TNS continues to provide faultless service.
We have seen
many other ISPs increase their prices in the last few years while TNS has not raised the price of
their excellent service. It remains $8.99 a month, billed annually. I can whole heartily
recommend them as the best ISP we have ever used & that includes quite a few.
They are a local San Diego firm & can reached at (888)636-8400.
